TL;DR

Vitalik against banning of PoW

In June, Buterin tweeted his opinion concerning proof of work consensus.
According to the tweet, the New York legislative bill proposes a regulatory crackdown on PoW mechanisms and their notorious energy consumption.

Buterin retweeted his old Twitter thread yesterday to remind his followers that he opposes PoW bans.

Multiclient on DAppNode is now LIVE!

DAppNode users have been able to pick the Execution Layer (EL) client and the Consensus Layer (CL) client of their choice in the Prater Testnet and in Gnosis Chain.

Things you need to know:

  • The prysm UI will stop working — even if you keep using prysm!
  • A redesigned keymanager UI is also built into the web3signer package.
  • You have to install the latest core
  • You can now find your keys in the web3signer and change CL clients with one click!

Another AllCoreDevs wrapped up!

Over 13.3 Million $ETH staked

A total of 13.3 million $ETH have been staked, which is almost twice what was staked last year.

Latest release of Hyperledger Besu out!

To run execution client software, Hyperledger Besu's latest release is now available to run in conjunction with the Merge.

Kyber Network integrates Chainlink Price Feeds on Arbitrum

Aztec Connect allows anyone to permissionlessly build bridges from Aztec's private account system to Ethereum, increasing utility for private transactions to include DeFi.
