In recent days, Brave browser has gained a lot of momentum specially in blockchain ecosystem because of its unparalleled privacy and security. Brave is an open source browser engine based on Chromium. It blocks unwanted content by default and keeps count. Some of it's privacy features, including “Private Tabs with Tor,” stop trackers and provide a deep level of protection. However this feature is currently available on desktop only.
There are many users who prefer Brave to do Ethereum transaction using Metamask add-on. The instruction available at the website may not be super helpful for beginners. So, in this article, I've outlined simple steps to install Metamask on Brave. I am using following version, but steps should be same for all the versions.
To Install MetaMask on Brave browser
Step 1: Go to extension as shown below.
Step 2: If you don't have already installed extension, you will be directed to extensions page which will look like this.
Step3: Click on the "Web Store", and it will land you to the "chrome web store", search for the Metamask as shown below.
Step4: Click "Add to Chorme" as below.
You have installed Metamask on brave browser.
Your are now ready for any kind of Ethereum or Ethereum based tokens transactions with Brave, the ad free browser.
