World Blockchain Hackathon presents a $12,000 blockchain hackathon in San Francisco on the 16th-17th June, 2018.
The aim of World Blockchain Hackathon is to create, nurture and support a growing decentralized community of blockchain developers. World Blockchain Hackathon organizes hackathons globally. The last event was held in Saint Petersburg Russia with 150+ participants.
The San Francisco Hackathon will cover the latest Blockchain technologies, research, applications, and development.
Our partners and sponsors include IBM, AChain, KickCity, Runway, DApperNetwork, TiE, dharma, HackingEdu, BuildETH, CageChain, Thoncoin and Latinx. There will be 1.5 hour workshops from some of the sponsors. C. Mohan (IBM Fellow) will give Hyperledger Fabric training. There will also be a solidity workshop.
In partnership with BEF hacking session, shortlisted projects will undergo security auditing ( hacking) on the 18th. Projects with the least vulnerabilities will earn extra points.
The prize money will be distributed across 3 teams on the 18th, 18;00. The judges will include blockchain tech experts and well know venture capitalists like Shuonan Chen (General Partner at AgileVC ), Ryan Wang (Founding Partner at Outpost Capital), Deborah Magid (IBM Ventures), Jorden Woods (StarChain Ventures) and Radhika Iyengar-Emens (StarChain Ventures).
