Instead of running an 8-week token sale event, KickCity will run a 4-week intensive tokensale and use the first 4-weeks for a more coordinated preparation.
We started working on KickCity with an aim to create value, solve problems and become the platform that will spearhead mass adoption and use of cryptocurrencies in real economy. All decisions we make are directed at achieving this goal.
There are tons of token-sale projects each month and we are determined to be different. Most projects focus more on token-sale and marketing without products. This has led to great loss of value when the tokens get to the exchanges because there is no daily need or any actual use for such tokens.
Product
In KickCity, we are very concerned about the future of our tokens and token-holders as we get to the exchanges and after. That is why we are working so hard to bring the product to life and establishing a list of potential event organizers that are waiting to jump on the product.
Development Stage
The first iteration of the product on Blockchain is 90% ready. We have started testing the KickCity protocol on a private Blockchain. We will use the February window to finish improvements and roll out the platform before the start of the crowd-sale.
Tokensale Momentum, Whitelist and KYC
We plan to use these extra days to build momentum for the crowd-sale while allowing more people to join the Whitelist. As a PURE utility token, launching the platform before our token sale will give us extra liberty to accept American token-buyers but under strict KYC process. Citizens of New York are excludedfrom purchasing KCY tokens during the sale. From February 15th, we will start the KYC process for all American citizens
Our US team conducted a survey at the University of Houston and we witnessed huge interest among students who would love to use our tokens & platform. In fact, we are planning a major concert in Houston using KickCity’s platform as the KCY token hits the exchanges. This is a perfect validation and beginning of our journey to market domination.
Equally, we have a lot of partners joining to promote the crowd sale with most of them eager to use the platform as well. Furthermore, we will be on Wings.ai for forecasting. Many successful projects such as Bancor, Indorse, Blackmoon & AdEx passed through Wings community.

We initially planned to create 500 million KCY tokens. After much consultation & consideration, only 250 Million tokens will be created and 160 million will be sold during the crowdsale.
