Jio’s $106B IPO Hits Bitget With 20x Pre-IPO Perps
Bitget launches JIOUSDT pre IPO perpetuals ahead of the anticipated Jio Platforms IPO, bringing the company into its global derivatives market.
JIOUSDT Pre IPO perpetuals have been introduced by Bitget ahead of Jio Platforms' planned IPO. On October 15, 2026, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen announced the launch, describing it as the first India-grade pre-IPO perpetual on a global exchange. The offering enables traders to take positions connected to the company prior to its anticipated public listing by bringing Jio Platforms into Bitget's derivatives market.
JIOUSDT Perpetuals Go Live on Bitget
Gracy Chen said that JIOUSDT Pre IPO perpetuals were live on Bitget and highlighted the increasing interest in Jio Platforms' upcoming IPO when she announced the launch on X. Before the company's shares are made accessible to the public, the product introduces trading associated with the planned public offering into the derivatives market.
Without directly buying its shares, JIOUSDT enables traders to take positions based on market movements related to Jio Platforms. Holding it does not grant shareholder rights; it is a derivatives contract rather than an equity investment.
Before the company's expected stock market debut, the launch allows Bitget users to trade their expectations regarding its possible valuation.
They say all great trades start before the crowd arrives. Jio Platforms' upcoming IPO is already the talk of global capital markets — and today, Bitget brings that conversation to the derivatives market.

Jio Platforms IPO Draws Market Attention
Jio Platforms is Reliance Industries' digital technologies and telecom division. The company, which was established in Mumbai in 2019, provides a range of digital and telecommunications services, such as 5G, internet, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
As of March 2026, Bitget reported that Jio Platforms had over 524 million users. Its large user base and widespread presence in India's digital economy are major contributors to the excitement around its planned IPO.
The company intends to pursue dual listing on both the National Stock Exchange of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange. The actual size, valuation, and date of the proposed IPO are still up for confirmation, but it has the potential to be the biggest in Indian history.
JIOUSDT Contract Specifications & Settlement
According to Bitget, USDT is the settlement asset while JIO is the underlying asset. Funding fees are paid every eight hours, and the contract is open for trade 24/7.
The maximum available leverage is 20 times, and the minimum price movement is 0.001. Additionally, Bitget offers an approximate number of 9.21 billion shares as a benchmark for the product.
The number of outstanding shares of Jio Platforms is not verified by this share estimation. Bitget acknowledges that the precise amount can vary and maintains the right to modify the contract size if more accurate data becomes available.
While the market price of the contract is still dependent on trading activity and shifting expectations on the planned IPO, these specifications specify how the contract functions on the exchange.
Leverage, Price Volatility & Trading Risks
Although JIOUSDT provides traders with derivatives exposure related to Jio Platforms, there is no assurance that the contract price will align with the eventual IPO price or the share price of the firm upon listing. Furthermore, neither a listing date nor an accurate company valuation is confirmed by the launch.
Profits and losses can both be increased by the maximum leverage of 20 times. Significant losses or liquidation may arise from even a minor negative price change. Price fluctuations could also be a reflection of the state of the market rather than verified changes in the company's IPO intentions.
Bitget has the right to modify contract terms, such as margin requirements and leverage limitations, in reaction to market conditions. Before opening a position, traders should review the most recent risk disclosures and contract parameters.
