  • An impact analysis on EIP 6466 and 6406 was done, aiming to determine the impact of these code changes on existing smart contracts.
  • The analysis revealed that LayerZero, zkBridge, and Telepathy could be impacted by the SSZ update, but upgradeability was possible in all cases.
  • Successful launch of Devnet #7 for the Cancun/Deneb upgrade was reported, identifying issues in client implementations which are being patched.
  • Developers discussed the necessity of including all Cancun/Deneb EIPs in their releases and passing necessary Hive tests in preparation for Devnet #8.
  • EIP 4788 is under modification to prevent excessive use of storage space, proposing the use of two ring buffers to bound the storage growth of the precompile.
